The movie “Man of Steel,” the latest telling of the Superman story, opened the Friday before Father’s Day this year. That’s an interesting juxtaposition, since oftentimes on Father’s Day, fathers are talked about as if they’re anything but super men.
Still, the truth is that most of us are more Clark Kent than Superman, or even more Diana Prince than Wonder woman, if you will.
This message is a look at Paul’s teaching in 1 Thess. 4:11, 12 about making it your goal to live a quiet life, etc. How does that square with seeking to be “all things to all people” in service of the Gospel?
