What does it mean to be merciful? Often when we think of “mercy,” it calls to mind the image of a judge giving a convicted criminal a light sentence. The ugly truth is that, very often, we don’t like the idea of guilty people not getting what they deserve.
The thing is, though, to be merciful is to put that application of grace into practice in your life. How can we do this? More importantly, once we realize how much mercy God has shown us, how can we not?
